A Gallery and Creative Space Founded by Dui Jarrod

The Frisson is more than a gallery, it is a living space for creativity, conversation, and care.

Founded by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Dui Jarrod, The Frisson is an art gallery and content room created to exhibit and support male artists who are descendants of chattel slavery.

It exists as a sanctuary for reflection, expression, and commerce. a place where modern Black men can show, sell, and celebrate their work in an environment that honors their full humanity.

Opening in Spring 2026 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, The Frisson will serve as both an exhibition space and a cultural classroom, where artists and audiences can connect through the language of creation. Each program, gathering, and conversation will move toward one central mission: to create ease, visibility, and opportunity for Black artists.
